ABSTRACT

A strong Connected Communities of Care (CCC) governance structure is vital to successful CCC operations and longevity. The CCC requires an elastic structure enabling flexibility in technical development, organizational oversight, community drivers, and future growth and development. A governance model assists the initial decision makers in organizing the best structure for governance of the CCC. The Governance Track lead will work with the Legal/Policy Track lead and CCC legal counsel, who will draft the appropriate governance documents. The Governance Track lead should determine if Intellectual Property protections are needed for patentable or copyrightable or trademarked materials arising from the CCC operations. Once the governance documents are adopted and contracts are signed, the Governance Track lead will implement the policies and procedures contemplated by those governance documents. The use-case analyses and the defined CCC interventions provide the necessary inputs for the Governance Track lead to define the necessary features and functionality of the CCC technology platform.
