ABSTRACT
In this chapter Lok Sabha elections held in the state in 1999 and after have been discussed in all details like the parties in the fray, party alliances, issues, campaign and electoral verdicts and what was significant about the particular election. There is also an attempt to link the study of the assembly elections with the Lok Sabha elections and also with the overall trend.
