ABSTRACT

Chapter 7 comprises the conclusion of the book’s analysis of the acquisition and transfer of MigCap. It summarises the empirically tested conceptual framework of MigCap linked to non-certified and non-validated mind skills, soft skills, maker skills and life skills acquired and transferred in MigCap-friendly opportunity structures where social contacts take place. This chapter also argues that MigCap is an unrecognised a distinctive human resource whose value businesses and public institutions would do well to appreciate, and offers data-driven recommendations for institutions by formulating (1) the outlines of a migration-impacted informal human capital skill transfer program and (2) a MigCap transfer index, listing its measures and indicators.
