ABSTRACT

The wonder of the people public possibility would return the reader to a private affair. Although space and relationality have a great deal to do with one another the inherent links between space and relation is not always obvious when the people are talking about human connections. It is also a struggle to keep those spaces from disappearing, a struggle to keep them free and welcoming to an ever-shifting plurality of embodiments and desires. Queer relations have a long history of specific dependence on sheltered spaces where relations can take place. Perhaps like learning to have sex safely, the people can learn to space safely and bring all of the people campy creativity to doing so, still offering to each other the conviviality and sexy flair they are so good at, that they-all of the reader-need so much still.
