ABSTRACT

This chapter sets out the ground rules about respecting individual freedom and understanding the significance of a rule before looking at how we might subvert it. Taking responsibility for our own body. Whenever possible, avoid the use of force, and, lastly, avoid injury to yourself and others. The ground rules are designed to encourage cooperation, safety, and respect within an unpredictable environment, without denying the possibility of individual freedom and creativity. The chapter stresses the importance of sharing information, wheelchair safety, and etiquette, ensuring safe spaces to work in and being supported in your teaching practice
