ABSTRACT

The guided imagery for frames arose during the pandemic when so many of us were tied to the screen as a way of communicating. It introduces a series of eye exercises by way of antidote to the imposed fixed focus of hours at the screen, and then shifts attention to the frame of the screen before journeying into inner and then outer spaces. The text provides a score that can be used in a studio setting or, should the need arise, in further instances of imposed isolation as an on-line workshop. Lastly it offers a partner practice for people in separate spaces.
