ABSTRACT

Using Photoshop to edit your perspective pencil sketches is very efficient and productive. If you are planning in advance, you can get better results in a faster pace with your drawing by using Photoshop to modify your hand draw sketch, especially when working with a symmetrical set design, or working with a set of multi-scenes, which has shared scenery elements. Rendering over your perspective pencil sketches with Photoshop gives you better control and better editing capability (vs. traditional media, such as watercolor). These topics are beyond this book’s scope. They will be discussed in detail in my next book: Practical Photoshop Guide for Theatrical Designers: Scene Design, Costume Design, Prop Design, Hair and Makeup Design.
