ABSTRACT

Tier 1 Method (T1M).Recombination reflects the principles of two types of inorganic chemical reactions, as well as chromosome recombination in biology. The chief commonality among these reactions is that they combine parts of two or more different solutions to create new molecules (ending points) that have very different features compared with the original molecules (starting points). T1M.Recombination is developed to generalize this very powerful innovation approach. T2M.Sharing is used to search for solutions that can be combined to share common components, and T2M.Cancellation is used to search for a combined solution to overcome a weakness in one of the starting points. T2M.Amplication is used to find a combined solution that amplifies the value of the starting points. T3M.Arbitrage is used to search for a good solution by incorporating aspects of successful solutions used in analogous contexts. T2M.Sharing and T2M.Amplication generate ending points that serve all needs addressed by the original starting points at least as well, if not better.
