ABSTRACT
After the reunification of Germany, Berlin needed a new train station to stitch the formerly divided city and newly reinstated capital back together. Architects gmp and engineers Schlaich, Bergermann und Partner collaborated to produce an extraordinary glass temple that reflects the best of both of their professions and provides the city a vital piece of infrastructure.
