ABSTRACT
Wages are the largest expense for any organisation, and this is true for touring artists as well. Cast and crew numbers for a tour of arena venues can reach 40 personnel. This chapter identifies the various roles of touring musicians and crew, with indications of pay rates for each, focusing on the role of the concert tour manager.
