ABSTRACT
This chapter invites you to consider some important factors that we attribute special meaning to, but that may work out differently. Two specific factors reviewed here are security and progress. We strive for security in jobs and other circumstances, but should keep in mind that everything can change instantaneously. Progress is a very subjective notion as well, because even a setback can turn out to be progress in the end. Security and progress have very individual, personalized meanings. It is important to reflect on that, and be sensitive about such multi-interpretable, yet critical concepts.
