ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we are taking a deeper look into the “Taker Mindset,” which was discussed earlier. The focus in this section will be on the often occurring mindset of “Selfish Gain” in our human society. Specifically, I will discuss the following three tendencies that are strongly based on our perceptions: (1) Social contradiction, (2) mental discrepancies, and (3) the high cost of moral performance. After doing so, I will focus on a model of “Shared Growth” consisting of (1) interbeing, (2) impermanence, and (3) immaterial happiness.
