ABSTRACT

Authenticity has to do with being genuine, factual, and honest. It matters both internally and externally. Your authentic self has to do with your spiritual core and is a journey of discovery that you regularly have to undertake. If we aim to be authentic, we should regularly examine our core values. However, we should also know that our perspectives, and even some of our values, may change over time, and that we may find that our “authentic” self can change, causing us to no longer support obsolete mindsets.
