ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses a topic we have all encountered at some time: difficult people at work. It describes the sense of inhibition you experience when you enter an environment with people that are extremely territorial. From a female standpoint, it is particularly known how challenging it can be to work with territorial colleagues from the same gender. One important detail of succeeding in work environment with “difficult” characters is to make sure you perform excellently. The prime factor is the decision to utilize your qualities constructively.
