“You should have asked” – Do we still have a long way to go?

This chapter readdresses the question of the way forward, and whether women ‘can have it all’. It considers workplace and public policies, and ways to address implicit bias which still impacts women. The chapter shares battles faced by women and ponders questions about how to improve their situation. Women still, predominately, carry most of the ‘mental load’ of home management and the chapter draws on examples of women in these situations.
