ABSTRACT

The existing clients are the most important customers an enterprise has with regard to achieved turnover. It is therefore of interest to get to know and cherish this group of customers. While the marketing and sales department is searching for new customers, contact with existing customers is often forgotten. Therefore, it is important to know who the customers are and what turnover they generate. To gain insight into the customers they will have to be registered and in such a way that analyses can easily be performed on them. The data that is recorded will have to be established by the enterprise itself. The most important are: name, address, city details; turnover data; history; product data; data from the account manager; agreements made; and visits. With the Customer Pyramid, the enterprise has available a structured method of dividing the sales and marketing budgets and efforts among those customers who ensure the actual turnover of the enterprise.
