ABSTRACT

The fulfilled life for a leader involves the triumphing of an inner vision, of what they see as their contribution of greatness to the world. Leaders who find the right strategy for how to meet the individual desires of people they work with will be using power wisely and finding themselves gaining more power as a result. To train leadership, then, the specific techniques and strategies needed must also be fluid and malleable to change. The specifics of how vision manifests differ from leader to leader, but there are some general agreements. Actors provide an excellent case study for the strengths and weaknesses of leaders. The essential idea, however, that must be remembered is that financial failure is not necessarily a reflection on a leader’s qualities. Leaders recognise that having a vision, as well as making it clearer and more concrete to themselves, is half the battle.
