ABSTRACT

Professional coaching, one of the fastest-growing professions in the world, helps talented individuals and teams to achieve their personal and professional best. Coaching task-performing executive leadership teams (ELTs) for change management is different from coaching individuals. Professional coaching, one of the fastest-growing professions world-wide, aids individuals and teams to be at their personal and professional best. Leaders have a desire to be coached. In 2013, Stanford University and the Miles Group polled over 200 chief executive officers (CEOs), board directors, and senior executives of North American private and public enterprises. Leaders seldom work alone. Recently, the nature of work has become incredibly complex; individual leaders will not triumph on their own. The greater complexity of numbers or the collection of individual team members is not what team-focused coaching for change leadership and engagement is about.
