ABSTRACT
This chapter offers practical advice and suggested teaching activities for delivering a unit of work on Macbeth for Year 5. This topic includes activities to respond to the story through art, drama, music, science and dance.

We have included a selection of valuable context for teachers, including a summary of the play, famous quotations and interesting facts. We point teachers towards adaptations and videos of the story to use in their teaching, as well as guidance for making this unit of work inclusive.
