ABSTRACT

In this chapter I revisit the frameworks that I have used and analyses that I have conducted in the book: chronotopes and scales, narrative stance-taking, and moral political values (virtue signaling). I revisit the three main data chapters, on individual identities, stories, and stances; group stance-work; and group navigation of the scales of contemporary politics; and I revisit the analytical tools that I arrived at to conduct my analyses: the Seven A’s of Facebook posts; stance and small stories frameworks; and chronotopes and scales. I close the book with a summary of how these activities fit within struggles to shift the scales of politics in new ways that are afforded by the current technologies of networked communications.
