ABSTRACT

The conclusion has two aims. First, it offers a critical assessment of the importance of Daly’s work for the development of Catholic social teaching as a whole, arguing that more needs to be done to regain the balance between the social and the spiritual in social spiritualty. Second, as societies become increasingly fractured, with populism, discrimination, and racism making structural violence the norm, this conclusion provides a roadmap for engagement with Catholic social teaching as a means of promoting reconciliation.
