ABSTRACT
This chapter of Homicide Case Studies focuses on serval of the hot-button issues occurring in the US today regarding homicide. Cases focus on radicalized terrorism, mass killings, school shootings, and the killing of young African Americans at the hands of law enforcement. The discussion questions will allow readers to critically examine the actions taken by law enforcement and the courts, while developing ideas to help repair the strained relationship between our police and the citizens they serve.
