ABSTRACT

Chapter 7 covers the most serious property offenses: Those that interfere with the sanctity of a person's home, such as arson and burglary. In addition, this chapter explains and describes crimes that share the characteristics of destruction and intrusion, such as breaking and entering, malicious mischief, trespass, and causing or risking catastrophe. Finally, this chapter also covers eavesdropping and wiretapping, since both share similar characteristics of intrusion.
