ABSTRACT
This chapter will cover the basics of a clinician’s prescriptive role, including note making and record keeping. The chapter will focus on ongoing laboratory monitoring, maintenance of separate medication lists, and confidentiality and security of records. There will also be a focus on documenting unusual treatment, and approaching record making based on every encounter, not every fact.
