Summarises the law in relation to both express and implied insurance warranties in England and Wales prior to the Insurance Act 2015; identifies the key failings that resulted in a playing field heavily biased in favour of the insurer: a simple breach of any warranty released the insurer from all liability; The Good Luck: automatic release from liability; efforts to mitigate the impact of a breach of warranty.
