ABSTRACT

Where all the questioning, the Big +, the valuing weight, catching one’s breath, and quantum awareness leads is a philosophy constructed from floating bones. Here, at the point of actually working the body to its fullest capabilities, is where the journey with my body as my teacher headed. And as a result, unbeknownst to me, a reorganization of my body to myself occurred. This reorganization was never my goal, yet it manifested itself. Instead of viewing my body as parts vertically with the legs being privileged over the arms, my body became a dynamic duo of torso and limbs, of sensed tensional lengths and interrelated networks of joints. And out of this new physical unity came a corresponding new mental approach, what I can only name as a philosophy constructed from my floating bones. Though Parts II and III continue this journey by explaining more in depth the hows and whys, here at the end of Part I, I take the heartbeat of the philosophy at this point.
