ABSTRACT
One of the main advantages of using R for data visualization is the level of customization offered by ggplot2. This chapter explores how researchers can adjust the aesthetics of their figures to maximize efficiency and reduce visual clutter. Later chapters indirectly revisit aesthetic adjustments using ggplot2.
