ABSTRACT
People seem to think money-making is bad; if you make money, you must be making it at someone else’s expense. These moral intuitions are obsolete—they evolved for dealing with the kind of economies our ancestors lived in, not for our own economy. Instead, in a modern market economy, in general, the more money you make, the more you serve others. Most people are already serving society by making money.
