ABSTRACT
Chapter 9 seeks to understand the complexity of culture as a context for theology. The chapter explains the different aspects of culture and cultural phenomena, such as secularity, materiality, civility, liminality, creativity, spirituality, and morality, and especially how these are of concern in theological prolegomena discussions, and theologizing in global contexts.
