ABSTRACT

Fundamental to the future of strategy is the inevitability that its practice will become increasingly open to all stakeholders from the perspectives of both formulation and implementation. The key focus of both Alicia’s and Jenny’s attention was to get a pilot Green Shoot Strategy, accelerated Deliberate Disruption program up and running. Perhaps most importantly, there is an ever-present fear amongst strategy practitioners that an open disclosure of confidential information about firm-specific strategy will lead to a threat to a firm’s competitiveness. All progress was being continually tracked and monitored within the corporate-funded, intranet-embedded Personalised Security Division (PSD) – Health strategy monitoring dashboard. Consistent with the objective of combining an agile open strategy practice with a Green Shoot Strategy deliberation, Charles and Francesca met to develop a work plan. T-wI Corporate University had been established, and PSD – Health’s strategy, learning and Community of Strategy Practice all fell under its umbrella.
