ABSTRACT
At home in the language of the soul. At home in. To be at, is to be situated. The force of at home lies not only in the substantive home, with its manifold sensible and symbolic associations. At gives rest there. Similarly, in the language of the soul. In also situates, offers containment, but not exclusively in material space, but also in an abstract, imaginal reality. Yet how often do we linger with these overlooked, minimal but productive atoms of our habitual speech, in whichever language we feel at home in, or dare to move out into? Moving out into is motion accomplished, not only in the verb, move, but out into actively transports us from here to an elsewhere. How might we start to unpack from here to elsewhere?
