ABSTRACT
Biodiversity on Earth is both rich and in jeopardy. What are human responsibilities toward endangered species, as seen in science and in ethics? How do natural and anthropogenic extinctions compare and differ? Do humans conserving biodiversity find themselves in a win-win environment. Or are there losers, humans, and/or wildlife. In the futures on our horizon, might the outcomes be lose-lose for both.
