ABSTRACT

It is easy to tell ourselves that we are too busy juggling our lives to set aside time to manage the stress which can result from being too busy and having, or maybe choosing to take on more things than we can handle. It may be that most people reading this will have heard of useful ways to manage stress such as prioritising your jobs, building in some ‘downtime’, take exercise and so on. It is worth repeating that knowing about the existence of these techniques does not give you the motivation to put them into practice. You may know how to handle stress but not have the drive to do anything about it.
