ABSTRACT
In audio 1, you will hear a conversation in which one speaker tells a story (something that happened that was embarrassing, scary, etc.). The other person, after prompting the story, will be mainly listening, using various 相 槌 as he listens. Shadow the listening person; that is, whenever he uses verbal 相 槌 , say it along with him. Listen again and see if you can predict the placement and type of 相 槌 , even if you don’t understand everything you are hearing. Remember, the other person may also be nodding or changing his facial expressions without necessarily making any sound.
