ABSTRACT

The moment the feminine enters the ranks of the three persons of the Godhead, the feminine, the body, the earth, reality are psychologically swallowed up by the ideal world. Psychoanalysis at large presently goes through a period of societal disregard, if not downright rejection. Jungian psychoanalysis in particular suffers an even worse fate. The moment of the birth of psychology is the moment of consciousness having become conscious of itself. The first aspect concerns the difference between two historical stages of consciousness, the “mythological,” “metaphysical,” or “natural” one, on the one hand, and the modern “psychological” one, on the other. Because the Trinity was the expression of the dimension of the mental and intellectual, C.G. Jung felt it was also itself as a psychological structure of consciousness, merely “ideal” and lacked realness.
