ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses objectives of the policy statements and mission statement. It includes internal and external issues, quality, food safety and environmental management systems, risk management procedure, compliance obligations, identification of environmental aspects and impacts, analysis and evaluation, and management plan. Management Team shall conduct a risk assessment based on selected objectives; and develop a management plan which includes the following information: general information; responsibilities for achieving them; current performance, if applicable; targets; timeframe; activities involved; training needs; and other information. The Management Team shall review the objectives at least annually, or when new regulations come into force, or when new products or new changes in operations are introduced.
