ABSTRACT
The responsibility of the staffs is to report non-conformities immediately to the supervisor. The responsibility of the QA manager is: to initiate non-conforming reports (NCRs); to identify non-conforming products; to maintain records of handling non-conforming products, processes, activities and services; and to identify, label and make arrangements to segregate non-conforming products. Other responsibilities are to verify that repaired or reworked items conform to customer or ABCCL requirements; to implement disposition decisions; and to analyse non-conformance patterns and trends and identify improvement opportunities. On a pallet, labels shall be applied on all four sides on the bottom layer of the pallet. QA Manager should instruct the Warehouse Manager to segregate the stock relating to the non-conforming product and make the stock “unallocable” in the computer.
