ABSTRACT

Top management is clearly responsible for demonstrating and maintaining commitment to the Integrated Quality, Food Safety and Environmental (IQFSE) management system. Management is responsible for maintaining the system, and identifying and implementing continual improvement of the system. The chapter includes IQFSE management system, strategic plan, objectives and targets, and risks and opportunities. Management encourages the involvement of staff in various activities such as continual improvement projects, document changes, problem-solving activities and addressing risks and opportunities. Through training and development activities, the Management Team creates an awareness of IQFSE management system requirements by promoting involvement in IQFSE activities. Customer feedback is measured and the results are reviewed at management review meetings.
