ABSTRACT

The responsibilities of the sales team are to determine product and service requirements, clarify the requirements, and to take the order. The responsibilities of the QA manager/production are to determine the feasibility of producing and delivering the product or service and to ensure that adequate resources are available. This chapter discusses external communication procedure and take orders procedure. There are three categories of customer requirements: finished products offered by ABCCL, product to be made according to specified requirements, and service. Customer Relations Manager should communicate with the customer and determine the details of the service required including the timeframe for the delivery of service. The review is conducted by the Production Team before the commitment to produce the product or deliver the service, to resolve product or service order, to resolve order requirements that may differ from those previously defined and to confirm the requirements not defined by the customer.
