ABSTRACT

This chapter contains two reflection and application focuses. For the first, participants continue their study of teaching with objects through Whole-Community Video Reflection on how an educator at their institution uses objects to support learning. They are introduced to a new tool for this purpose: Educator Moves for objects. The Let’s Talk Practice in this chapter provides the opportunity to apply these ideas to their current and future use of objects. For the second, participants revisit their initial thoughts on how people learn, and articulate in writing how their thinking has changed and why. They then reflect on what they want to incorporate into their practice about designing learning experiences to support learning.
