ABSTRACT

This chapter relates to the author’s personal experiences from his school days and beyond. The various incidents and anecdotes presented within the narrative in this chapter can be related to the context of the theories, constructs and ideas presented in the previous chapters. The changes that have appeared within school systems over a generation as well as the irrationalities and biases that form the core ideational constructs of school systems are illustrated though personal experiences. The chapter illustrates how the behaviour of adults within schools tend to affect the lives of the students. The chapter is intended to create a relatable narration wherein adults may search for a point of reference for their own school experiences through the experiences of the author.
