ABSTRACT
A reputable hypnotherapy training school will have spent time going through how to use and deliver scripts. Students and newly qualified hypnotherapists may feel a script will aid and support them when they are in the early stages of their development/career. A more experienced hypnotherapist may feel that they need something new and fresh to stimulate their work and ideas. A hypnotherapist needs to find a script in the first instance and then become familiar with it by reading it over and over. If the hypnotherapist is going to just read a script straight through, then it is imperative that they do not sound like they are reading. In order to be clear and make a point, the hypnotherapist should put emphasis on certain words and phrases within a script. If a hypnotherapist is feeling a bit nervous due to using a script for the first time, then there could be a tendency to speak too quickly.
