ABSTRACT

This final chapter explores how the case studies in this book can be used pedagogically by musicians, music educators, and music students to give practical form to the ideas, and to make themselves and their colleagues, audiences, and students more aware of the music and sustainability nexus. It presents suggestions to develop ways of learning and teaching music, of working as a musician, and of becoming and being a professional or community musician able to play their part in the discussion, debate, and action needed to face the crisis of sustainability in the early 21st century.
