ABSTRACT

This chapter provides a discussion of the result of the digital media and transmedia experiences created during the COVID-19 pandemic, illustrated by the case studies of Populated Solitude, SFBookDraft1 and Ear for the Surge. The processes employed throughout the production of these case studies are inspired by the DeleuzoGuattarian concept of The Fold and are discussed in relation to a consideration of omnidirectional media, a practice which represents a gradual unfolding of narrative in multiple directions and on multiple platforms.
