ABSTRACT

Much of the suffering we identify with and experience through our pain is entirely within our heads. It comes from the stories we build up around the pain and that we become consumed by. Much of our suffering is in our attempts to resist pain. Emotional pain is often buried deep within, and its consequences are seen in our actions and results; just like an iceberg where only a small fraction is visible above the water line, with most of the ice hiding below the surface. In this chapter, the author shares precise methods of taking the leap from emotional pain to emotional stability that are fundamental to achieving unstoppable success. In every person’s life, there comes a time of ultimate challenge. A time when things seem unfair. A time when our faith and values are tested beyond limits. These tests must be used as opportunities to become a better person.
