Mantra 1 Take Charge book
Success does not discriminate between a man and a woman. For if it did, the Wall Street Journal would not carry news of numerous male CEOs failing. The bottom line is that be it man or woman, everyone wants to achieve success, and those who achieve it must sustain it. In this chapter, the author shares a story to insist that everyone on this planet have the capacity to be great. We don’t achieve that greatness, not because of lack of resources and definitely not because of lack of people’s support. We do not achieve greatness purely because we fail to take charge. Take charge is not about occupying the seats in the boardroom. Nor is it about controlling everything around us. To take charge means we are not dependent on anyone or any situation for our success. Taking charge of our inner leader is an imperative skill and mindset that most leaders need today to be successful.
