ABSTRACT
Chapter 8 examines the role of the Indian central and state governments in fostering an institutional environment that supports entrepreneurship development. It highlights the need for Indian entrepreneurs to build strong relationships with different levels of government in order to ease the process of doing business. It also discusses the challenges faced by Indian entrepreneurs and strategies adopted by them to deal with these challenges.
