ABSTRACT

This chapter examines some of the individuals associated with the Military Affairs Committee of the Pichel Knights who were all supportive of Goleniewski’s Romanov claims. These include several former US military and intelligence figures including Major General Charles Willoughby, General Pedro del Valle, head of the Defenders of the American Constitution, General Arthur Trudeau, Colonel Philip Corso and Herman Edward Kimsey. It examines the conflict between these far-right ex-military figures and the CIA whom they regarded as insufficiently anti-communist.
