ABSTRACT
This chapter places the responsibility for positive transformation squarely on the shoulders of leaders and decision-makers. It looks at the importance of the board of directors in leading the process, exploring the concept of corporate governance. It looks at how boards need to be configured to meet current and future challenges. The chapter concludes by looking at individual responsibility for sustainability, including the role of corporate responsibility officer.
