ABSTRACT
Technology is inextricably linked to the pursuit of sustainability, as it is one of the key factors in enabling truly transformative change. This chapter looks at the role of tech in the COVID-19 crisis. The Tech4Good project is examined, while a question mark is placed over the tech giants. The chapter explores how sustainability drives innovation: in fact, there is a direct link between sustainability and innovation, and smart companies realize this. The chapter discusses the phenomenon of disruptive innovation and ends by reinforcing the importance of responsibility with regard to technology.
